- "Who has heard that a bride should 'Wear something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. And a shiny penny in your shoe.' These of course, are the collection of items considered lucky for the bride to take to her wedding. When planning my own wedding, the most intriguing of these was the 'something blue'. It required a little more creativity and it gave me a chance to show off my own personal style. That's why I decided to name my company 'Something Blue'.
